The vertical screw conveyor is suitable for conveying dry materials with a bulk density of ≤ 1.3t/m3 in powder, granular, and non viscous forms at a vertical or large inclination angle. It has a small footprint and is sealed for conveying. The distance between the feed inlet and the discharge outlet ranges from 2.5 meters to 15 meters, with a range of 0.5 meters. Vertical screw conveyor is a special type of screw conveyor mainly used for vertical material transportation, transporting materials from the ground to different floors, or from underground to the ground and other scenarios. The vertical screw conveyor consists of a tubular shell connected to the outlet of the horizontal screw feeder at the bottom, with the tangential inlet at the bottom and an inclined outlet at the top. End flanges, one or more segmented rotary screws, coupling bushings at each end, a basic bearing assembly with sliding bushings, and multiple intermediate hanger bearings are welded to each conveying pipe section.
Drive device: adopts the upper drive form. The motor is installed at the head of the host, and the power is transmitted to the spindle through a belt, thereby driving the spiral operation. When the motor power is less than or equal to 15Kw, single drive is used, and when the motor power is greater than 15Kw, dual drive is used.
Spiral: The surface shape of spiral blades varies depending on the type of material transported by the vertical spiral conveyor, including solid surface, belt surface, and blade surface.
Bearing: The screw shaft of the vertical screw conveyor has a thrust bearing at the end of the material movement direction to provide axial reaction force to the screw along with the material. When the machine is long, an intermediate hanging bearing should be added.
Material trough: The material of the trough includes carbon steel and stainless steel, but it is commonly made of thin steel plates with a thickness of 2-4mm. The two sides of the cross-section are vertical, and the bottom is semi-circular.
