When using a bucket elevator, there are some key points to pay attention to in order to protect the equipment for a longer service life. Generally speaking, it is not only necessary to pay attention to regular maintenance, but also to some maintenance knowledge.
Bucket elevator is a large conveying equipment, and due to different types, the methods of maintenance and upkeep also vary. It is generally divided into chain type and belt type. For the chain type, it refers to the internal transmission method of the machine body being the assembly of sprockets. When the sprocket wears out to a certain extent during use, the bolt can be unscrewed and the wheel rim can be replaced. During normal use, lubricating oil can be added. In addition, it should be noted that sometimes due to long-term wear and tear, one side of the sprocket may be severely worn. To extend the service life of the chain, the entire ring chain can be disassembled and installed on the opposite side.
In addition to the maintenance of the chain, it is necessary to maintain normal lubrication at all lubrication points during the working process. After use or repair, when running for 100 hours, the entire machine should be rechecked and all bolt joints should be tightened. For a typical bucket elevator, a belt is used internally. Prolonged use can cause severe belt wear, so it is necessary to regularly inspect it. The operation of each component should be checked regularly to ensure that the bolts at each connection are tightened and that the traction parts and hopper are not worn or damaged. During use, attention should also be paid to other situations such as hopper detachment, belt slippage, and chain detachment. The heavy hammer lever type tensioning device can be adjusted to adjust the tightness and maintain a constant tension.
After a certain period of use, there may be some scattered materials underneath the bucket elevator that need to be cleaned up in a timely manner. Long term accumulation may affect the normal operation of the equipment. If the accumulated material in the machine base is not removed during startup, sudden power outages or other reasons often occur during production. If the accumulated material in the machine base is not removed during restart, it is easy to cause the hopper to break and fall off due to excessive impact. Therefore, between shutdown and startup, it is necessary to remove the accumulated material inside the machine base to prevent the hopper from falling off. In addition, regularly check whether the connection between the hopper and the hopper belt is firm. If loose or detached screws, skewed or damaged hoppers are found, timely maintenance or replacement can effectively extend the service life of the equipment.
