The structural forms of electric tar precipitators mainly include three types:concentric circle,tube,and honeycomb.There are differences in the form of sedimentation electrode,arrangement of corona electrode,insulation box,and feeding box among electric tar precipitators with different structures,but their working principles are the same.

Working principle:The working principle of an electric tar catcher is to use a high-voltage electric field to ionize gas molecules,producing a large amount of ions and electrons.These charged particles collide with tar particles,causing them to carry an electric charge.Under the action of electric field force,charged tar particles move towards the electrode and deposit on it,thereby achieving the purpose of purifying exhaust gas.

Performance characteristics of electric tar catcher:

1.High energy efficiency:The electric tar catcher can remove over 90%of tar particles and has a high purification efficiency.

2.Low energy consumption:Compared to other physical separation methods,electric tar precipitators have lower operating energy consumption.

Electric tar precipitators have a wide range of applications in various industrial fields,including but not limited to:

1.Coking plant:in the process of coking,the gas will carry a large number of tar particles.The electric tar catcher uses a high-voltage direct current electric field to electrically capture tar particles in the gas and deposit them on the precipitation electrode,thereby purifying the gas.

2.Asphalt mixing plant:used to treat tar containing flue gas generated during the melting process of asphalt.When these smoke gases pass through the electrostatic tar precipitator,the tar droplets are charged and charged under the action of a high-voltage electric field,and then move towards the electrode plate and deposit under the action of the electric field force.

3.Carbon plant:During the carbon production process,a large amount of tar particles are generated in the coke oven flue gas.The electric tar catcher effectively captures and cleans these tar particles through the action of a high-voltage electric field.

4.Power plants:The flue gas in coal-fired power plants contains a large amount of dust and tar.Electric tar precipitators can be used as part of the flue gas desulfurization system to improve the efficiency of flue gas purification.

5.Other industries:waste gas treatment in industries such as ceramics,glass,cement,as well as waste gas treatment in metallurgical processes(such as flue gas generated from electrolytic aluminum).
