The framework of the dust collector, also known as the dust bag cage, is the "rib" of the filter bag. It is welded and formed by one-on-one equipment, and the material is iron wire or stainless steel wire. The surface is treated by galvanizing, spraying, organic silicon and other methods.

The dust removal skeleton has the characteristics of firm welding, smooth appearance, straightness to prevent damage to the filter bag, lightweight application, and easy installation and maintenance. It mainly includes flat bag type skeleton, round bag type skeleton, envelope type dust removal skeleton, and round bag spring type skeleton. The quality of the dust removal bag cage directly affects the filtering state and service life of the filter bag.

According to different structures and application scenarios, dust collector skeletons can be divided into various types. Round bag skeleton is a common type, suitable for most pulse jet dust collectors. Its structure is simple, easy to install, and can support circular filter bags. The flat bag type skeleton is suitable for situations with limited space, usually used in flat bag dust collectors, and has the characteristics of small footprint and flexible layout. In addition, there are also alien skeletons such as ellipses or polygons, which are customized according to specific equipment requirements and can adapt to different filtering environments.

The characteristics of the dust collector skeleton include lightweight design, high strength support, and good compatibility. Lightweight design helps reduce the overall weight of equipment and lower energy consumption; High strength support confirms that the filter bag does not deform under high-speed airflow; Good compatibility enables the skeleton to be used in conjunction with various filter bag materials, such as polyester, acrylic, or PPS filter media.

3. Manufacturing process of dust collector skeleton

The manufacturing process of the dust collector skeleton mainly includes material selection, steel wire processing, welding forming, and surface treatment. In terms of material selection, carbon steel is a commonly used material with low cost and good strength; Stainless steel is used in highly corrosive environments, but at a higher cost. The steel wire processing process involves straightening, cutting, and bending to confirm dimensional accuracy. Welding forming often uses automatic welding technology to protect the welding points from being firm and free of burrs, avoiding damage to the filter bag. Surface treatment is a key step, galvanizing can provide basic anti-corrosion (based on actual reports), while spraying can provide richer color choices and better weather resistance.

Maintenance and upkeep of dust collector framework

Regular maintenance is an important measure to extend the lifespan of the dust collector framework. The maintenance includes checking the skeleton for deformation, corrosion, or cracking of welding points, as well as whether the surface coating has peeled off. If there is any damage, it should be replaced promptly or serviced with care. When cleaning, compressed air can be used to blow or a soft cloth can be used to wipe, avoiding the use of sharp tools to scratch the surface. In the high humidity environment of Heilongjiang, it is recommended to increase the frequency of inspections to prevent corrosion (based on actual reports) from worsening.

When storing, the skeleton should be placed in a dry and ventilated place to avoid moisture and chemical erosion. When not in use for a long time, rust proof oil can be applied for protection.
