Dry filter box is a waste gas pretreatment equipment that relies on physical interception to separate impurities such as dust and oil mist. Its core advantages are no accumulation of liquid, no secondary pollution, and easy maintenance. It is widely used in industries such as spraying, welding, chemical engineering, and electronics. It is often used as a pre-treatment device for UV photo oxygen purifiers and activated carbon adsorption boxes, which can effectively remove dust, paint mist, and oil mist with a particle size of 1 μ m or more in the waste gas, avoid blockage or failure of subsequent purification units, and ensure the stable operation of the overall waste gas treatment system.
From the perspective of structural design, the equipment adopts a drawer style or stacked modular structure, with the core consisting of a box, multi-stage filtering units, airflow guide plates, and maintenance doors. The material of the box body can be selected from PP, carbon steel (anti-corrosion coating) or 304 stainless steel according to the scene, suitable for different corrosion and temperature environments; The filtration unit is the core component and is usually designed in a graded manner of "primary filtration+intermediate filtration+fine filtration". Large particle dust is directly intercepted by the primary filter layer, while small dust and oil mist are retained through the fiber gaps of the middle filter layer. The fine filter layer further captures residual small impurities, and the purified exhaust gas (with a dust removal rate of over 90%) is discharged from the air outlet and enters the subsequent deep processing equipment. The entire process does not require water or chemical agents, and purification is achieved solely through the physical action of the filter material, without any accumulation of liquid or secondary pollution.
Attention should be paid when using: the filter material should be checked regularly according to the concentration of impurities in the exhaust gas. When the surface area of the filter material is too dusty or the equipment resistance exceeds the set value (usually 150-300Pa), the filter material should be replaced in a timely manner; Different industries need to match specialized filter materials, such as choosing anti sticking paint mist filter cotton for the spraying industry and high-temperature resistant filter materials for the welding industry; The equipment needs to be installed horizontally to ensure stable airflow.
