The VOC catalytic combustion waste gas treatment equipment is suitable for processing high-temperature, low-flow-rate, medium-concentration waste gases. It can handle a variety of solvents, including benzene, ketones, esters, alcohols, aldehydes, ethers, alkanes, and their mixtures.

This VOC catalytic combustion waste gas treatment equipment can be widely used for the purification of exhaust gases in paint baking and drying lines across industries such as automobiles, household appliances, steel structures, and plastics.

Technical Features

1. Utilizing a 300-cell honeycomb catalyst, it features low resistance, low ignition temperature, and catalytic combustion;

2. The heat generated by waste gas combustion is utilized for energy recovery, reducing energy consumption; it has minimal restrictions on combustible component concentration and calorific value;

3. The combustion temperature requirement is low. Under the action of a catalyst, most hydrocarbons and CO can typically complete the reaction within a range of 300-330°C, eliminating the need for auxiliary fuel;

4. Due to its flameless combustion, it has excellent performance and is particularly suitable for treating continuously emitted gases;

5. The inclinometer vector frequency converter, an energy-saving frequency converter, features compact Beijing frequency converter system equipment with a small footprint and low investment cost. The equipment and process flow are simple, resulting in a low failure rate.

System Composition and Control of VOC Catalytic Combustion Exhaust Treatment Equipment

1. Catalytic combustion system

The main components include a catalytic combustion bed (comprising an electric heating chamber, catalytic chamber, and heat exchanger), a flame arrester, temperature detectors, corresponding electric valves, and insulated pipelines. Its primary function is to utilize the electric heater in the catalytic combustion bed to heat exhaust gases generated by the production line, enabling the conversion of these gases into CO2 and H2O under the action of a catalyst at temperatures around 280-300°C while releasing significant heat. The heat is then reused through the heat exchanger.

2. Control System

It mainly consists of a PLC electrical control cabinet, temperature display instruments, electric valve actuators, and panel schematic diagrams, with the function of:

Control the opening and closing of relevant valves in the pipeline during the working process. According to the process requirements, manage the start and stop of electric heaters, and control and indicate the heating temperature of the catalytic bed, reaction temperature, gas flow temperature, and gas outlet temperature. Alarm for abnormal conditions during equipment operation and automatically shut down. Exchange signals with the main control system to achieve interactive connections.
